Marcy Richardson, Soprano

Ms. Richardson, originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, was recently a resident artist with Orlando Opera, where she sang Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, Cunegunde in Candide, and Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro. Other roles she has performed  include Adina in L'Elisir d'Amore, Fiorilla in Rossini's Il Turco in Italia, and Olympia in Les Contes d'Hoffmann. She studied music at Indiana University and the Institute for the International Education of Students in Vienna. She has sung with Central City Opera (Colorado), Baltimore Opera, and the 2006 Lucerne Festival Academy under Pierre Boulez. Ms. Richardson makes her debut in France this summer with Lyrique en Mer.
