Neta Amit was born in Israël and currently works as a stage director for the Israeli Opera and as an independent stage director for the Opera studio.
She directed Le Nozze di Figaro (Mozart), An evening of letters from the Opera, and Orfeo ed Euridice (Gluck).
She also revived Simon Boccanegra, a David Pountny production, and La Traviata, a David Alden production, both in Israel and in Wiesbaden, Germany.
It is her fourth year with Lyrique en Mer. She co-directed Le Nozze de Figaro, Rigoletto, La Bohème, Carmen, les Noces de Figaro, Falstaff. This year, she will direct les Contes d'Hoffmann with Marlis Senoner.
